A black cotton sateen apron. It has a waistband that extends a short piece on each end. Each end of the waistband has a piece of black silk ribbon sewn to it. The original catalogue record says that it is a Pennsylvania German lady's apron c. 1875. Only one sash, requires no buttons and is held by a common pin - apron has been slightly altered since?
